Welcome! I am overjoyed that you are here to join in the celebration for OWH's birthday! You show your support for our troops and OWH when you create wonderful cards but how about kicking it up a notch? Create a card with elements that represent each letter of Operation Write Home!
Can you see my homage to OWH?
O~ there are an odd number of octagons and an odd number of rhinestones
W~ warm winter wishes and a woolen hat and scarf, and the star is mounted on wood
H~ On his head is a hat and he is happy and a tiny bit husky and even though I think those are cranberries- I could pretend they are holly berries!
And as a bonus- I have 1 more O---and ornament on the inside made from honeypop paper! Oooooh- don't you love when there is a surprise inside the card! (This card gets put entirely inside the envelope!)
I used Inky Antics stamps and honeypop paper, Copic markers, Spellbinder dies, SU punches,Queen and Co gems, and papers from Bazzill, MME, American Crafts and SEI.
Do you need help and some hints, some words to get your creativity into overdrive? I bet if you look at your crafty supplies you will find lots of ways to put a little extra OWH into your cards! It can be in the sentiment, the theme- whatever works for you!
O- orange, ombre, orbit, outer space, over, orangutan, old, oink, one, otter, octopus, owl, oval, whiskers, wobble
W- wagon, wheels, watch, wonder, wag, worm, world, walrus, whale, wolf, white, wreath, window, welcome, wings
H- hand, heart, hi, hello, howdy, hot air balloon, hero, house, harvest, hugs, helicopter, horse, HO-HO-HO
I hope you have fun with the challenge and share your card with us at the link below! And if you would like to win this very cool tool set by WRMK please leave a comment and a way to reach you- and I will draw a winner on Sept 8, 2013.
