Just a quick post before the Patriots game!
I really like this week's sketch, check out the sample at OWH- fantastic card!But- even though I like this sketch a lot--this is my 3rd card!
Card one- an epic fail at an Easter card.
Card #2- better Easter card- but I got black ink everywhere- no way to hide it! That is what I get for leaving the cover off my ink pad!
I ditched the Easter idea- and went with this CC Designs little boy.

Awww!!! That is so cute! I love the tree in the background of the oval!
ReplyDeleteOMG...way to rock the sketch...adorable. ps I do the ink thing all time time...
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable, and at least your 3rd try was a winner! LOL I've learned to close my ink pad immediately after stamping, because I've ruined more cards than I care to mention! It took me a while, but I finally figured out how to avoid that disaster! I love this little guy sitting on the bench! CUTE!
ReplyDeleteThe paper piecing on the shirt is just such a sweet way to tie this card's elements together. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this card is adorable... your perseverance paid off big time! I love how you put the die cut behind to oval cut out. The little boy looks so cute sitting inside looking out. Thanks so much for playing!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the sketch. The tree in the background is just perfect and I like how you used the same DP for the shirt. Really ties everything together.
