Rocking a Child's World- in a good way!

Welcome! This week the challenge for the midweek throwdown at OWH is to make cards for our troops to send home to children.
I pulled out stamps with funny aliens and got to work!
I like to have some of my cards interactive so I decided to use an Action Wobble- I have not used one in a little while.

Do you want to see it move? Of course you do!

And here is the OWH sketch for today:

                                 owh sketch canvas copy

Jen created the sample card today- check out more of her amazing work at her blog sparklewithin.blogspot.com.
And here is my version...I liked making a card with the sentiment and the patterned paper taking center stage. I stamped 'so much' into some of the speech bubbles. I colored my white ribbon with a copic marker- surprisingly I did not have ribbon to match! The colors look funky here- the main color is a green that matches copic YG95 perfectly and the word bubble paper is a pretty blue.
My camera skills and lighting are getting worse lately- the greens in the aliens card are also off. I need to try taking my pictures in a different location! In real life, I like the card and the papers and ADORE the sketch!

Have a great week and continue to craft on! Hey- don't forget to join the party at the Drunken Stampers! That pesky Yellow Canary team had more submissions for their twine challenge than the very talented, beautiful and down-right fun Tropical Hooters team had the week before....so come on- join challenge this week- Party Planner/Celebration! The Hooters really need your support! (I love the YC team... a playful competition is brewing....)
Take care and thanks for visiting,
Diane
