The snow stopped yesterday afternoon and today the sun was shining brightly!
Today's sketch at OWH is based on a card by Carol who blogs at http://ourlittleinspirations.blogspot.com/
This beautiful card is the sketch inspiration-I love the embossing on her card and the crispness of the red against the white! Please go check out Carol's blog; she made another card for the sketch and all of her cards are gorgeous!
My card is made with DCWV paper, Spellbinders dies and an embossed image- I wish I knew where I got the stamp (I put a lot of my clear stamps in CD cases a few years ago and for some reason, I did not label the maker...dumb!). The sentiment is from Hero Arts, self adhesive ribbon is from Michaels in the clearance bin for about 20cents and the gems are by Queen & Co.
Have a wonderful week! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Take care and craft on,
Diane
Your card is a breath of spring, so refreshing with that adorable image! I LOVE the dsp you used, and what a great find on the ribbon too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out and such kind words! You've truly made my day a great one :)

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card Great image and your sentiment banner loks terrific. Lovely paper also. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love that image. I did the same thing with my stamps, didn't write down a thing....although at the time, I never expected to have a blog, or at least a blog that anyone bothered to look at! Love your card!
ReplyDeleteHi Diana, glad the blizzard is over up there in New England! Your card is stunning; I so rarely try heat embossing that a card like yours really takes my breath away! Lovely work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card Diane. The embossed image looks like a silhouette, and I love that. The curved banner and sentiment are perfect. Thanks for playing!
