Hello! Today I am sharing 2 cards for Operation Write Home.
The October ODBD challenge is to create a card with snowflakes but not a Christmas card. I used MFT stamps for both of my cards.
The snowflakes are die cut from DCVW glitter paper- it is great because the glitter does not flake off and it is very shiny (not that I can ever capture that in pictures!).

This week's sketch is a fun one...I like the different layers and the tilted image. I paper-pieced this image-something I enjoy doing!
Have a wonderful week and go make some cards!

Hi, Diane. Both cards are great, but I'm super partial to the second one. Love the clean crisp look of that card -- and your paper piecing is so nicely done.
ReplyDeleteDiane, both of your cards are fabulous! Wow!
ReplyDeleteDiane, these are both so adorable! I'm glad we're both fans of the MFT Pure Innocence stamps. I just got another set in the mail, haha.
ReplyDeleteohh, both cards are just so precious! Love them both, great choice of paper. Love the clouds die cuts, especially the little stitch marks it makes. Great contrast and so cute! TFS!
ReplyDeleteTwo sweet cards...absolutely adore the colors on the second as well snow banks! tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are just darling. I just love the glittery(but safe) snowflakes with the pretty gems on the first card. And great job with the paper piecing the cute little image on your second card. Great colors too. Thanks for playing along with this month's ODBD challenge.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many details to enjoy on both cards, but I'm especially loving the dies you used for "snow" - brilliant! Great paper piecing too!
ReplyDeleteThese card designs are terrific! Your sentiment choices are a perfect match.
