Is it really Wednesday already?

Wow- the past few days have flown by-- I cannot believe it is time for the OWH midweek Throwdown!
This week we are challenged to use a sentiment as our focal point. I love this sentiment from Stampabilities- and I paired it up with some paper from Echo Park- This & That Charming. And some fuzzy brads, some faux stitching in black and white- and that is it!

And in case any Western Mass folks are looking for the OWH/Hero Arts new stamps-- both sets are at Hobby Lobby in Holyoke today (only 1 of each)...I was lucky to pick them up in Poughkeepsie this past weekend.
Have a great rest of the week and craft on!
Diane

  1. OMG I cannot believe that I just bought that stamp today as I thought it was so cool. And then used it for the MWT challenge as well. Great minds think alike! I went to HL in Iowa City and they had 2 of each of the OWH sets...how cool was that? Great card...love the patchwork and the sentiment!

  2. That sentiment is fabulous and oh so true. Those fuzzy brads are cute and you did a marvelous job with your faux stitching, in both colors, I like that idea of using two different colored stitching. I see a CASing in my future. I agree, this week has just flown by.

  3. Oh, WOW!!! You've just sold a stamp and papers. (How could there be a paper I don't have????) I Love the sentiment and how you put the papers together, and yet again, I'm agreeing with Donna that I must remember to use two different colors of faux stitching! What a great idea and I had to look closely, after reading your description to see that it wasn't actually thread. Great job and the fuzzies were a fun touch.

Now I just wish we had a Hobby Lobby here. I so miss mine! Even JoAnn's is gone, leaving us with Target, Walmart, and Michaels.

  4. Wow Diane, your card is awesome! I love that sentiment and the papers. Those papers are so versatile I might have to get more. Love the white and black stitch lines and fuzzy brads. Thanks for playing!

  5. Diane, the design of this card and the unique pattern used to add the different patterned papers looks so clean and very interesting. The sentiment is unique as well. Very nice!
