Welcome to another Sunday with a sketch from OWH, the monthly Our Daily Bread Designs challenge and another crazy Patriots win!
Here is our sketch for this week:
And here is my card using Authentique papers, Spellbinders dies and a stamp from Impression Obsession- I love this saying! I like this layout...the circle is a nice element to showcase an image or a larger sentiment- and a good amount of the patterned papers are still visible.
Each month Our Daily Bread Designs donates up to two boxes of free shipping for our heroes–1 for 25 cards posted and 2 for 50. Only one card can be counted towards the total from each card maker but I felt the need to make a few cards.
The sentiment stamp is from CTMH- I love it- the whole set is wonderful! The anchor is a die by LifeStyle Crafts and the brad is from my stash.
I purchased this stamp at the stamp show last June-- I do not know who makes it (it is unmounted red rubber). I think it is so majestic!
(I like that word- my sister uses it to describe her ginormous Newfie dog, Lola!) The sentiments are by MFT- a great set of love stamps- they are on the larger size and could really stand of their own- but I like them paired with these beautiful animals!
Well- that is it for me for today! Have a wonderful week!
Craft on,
Diane

Wow, Diane, when you get started you just take off running. LOL Each one of these cards are magnificent. I love every one of those sentiments and you pairs them perfectly with the rest of the cards. I could not even pick a favorite if I had to, but I can tell you that each recipient will consider it their favorite. Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful and I agree, quite majestic!! Love the 'miss your face' sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteHoly crow Diane! These cards are all so amazing! How do you crank out so many gorgeous cards?! If I can get two cards made, I'm all like, yay for me! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAwesome group of cards...I have to admit the stormy sea cards are my fave...and the anchor is a wonderful touch! WTG!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! Love, love, love the stormy seas and the anchor-perfect card!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, love your energy and inspiration to go beyond just one card! I love your interpretation for this week's OWH sketch, moving the elements a bit over to accommodate the larger sentiment, very clever! TFS!
ReplyDeleteCame by to see your OWH204 card & decided to look around. You do such wonderful work! I like them all, but the Happily Ever After lions took my breath away when I was flipping through the images one by one. Boy, some spouse is really going to treasure that one! Interesting that in the lions in the circle, the male's caring seemed more dominant, but in the square version, it was the female - same image, but the framing made a dramatic difference to me.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if you usually do multiples, but I highly recommend you do so with both lion cards and the two anchor cards - they really stand out to be cards I could see my husband actually sending. I imagine he's similar to many deployed husbands - better at comedy than emotion - definitely not fru-fru - but love their wives very much. Thanks for doing such inspiring work!
